Ottawa University Senior Quarterback Ethan Haller Throws Four Touchdown Passes to Lead the Braves to a 31-21 Victory over McKendree University

PLATTE CITY, Missouri - Ottawa (Kan.) University quarterback Ethan Haller was 25-of-38 with 437 yards passing and four touchdowns as he led the Braves to a 31-21 victory over McKendree (Ill.) University in the football season opener for the two National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics teams in the 4th Annual College Fanz First Down Classic (Aug. 29).
Haller, a senior, connected for his fourth touchdown pass of the evening with 2:32 remaining in the game, a 21-yard completion to senior wide receiver Corey Schultz. He earlier completed a 53-yard pass for the first touchdown of the game, and a 62-yard pass minutes later to put the Braves up 14-0 in the first period.
