KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Donald Anderson of Ottawa (Kan.) has been named the NAIA National Football Defensive Player of the Week, Austin Dodge of Southern Oregon has been tabbed the National Football Offensive Player of the Week and Isiah Wiley of Belhaven (Miss.) received National Football Special Teams Player of the Week honors, the national office announced Monday. Anderson, Dodge and Wiley were chosen for their performances during the week of Oct. 29 - Nov. 4 and were selected out of a pool of conference and independent award winners.

Anderson, a defensive back from Wichita, Kan., led an Ottawa defense that picked off seven passes and forced eight turnovers in the Braves' 35-3 victory over Friends (Kan.) on Nov. 3. The senior set a new school record and NAIA individual game high with four interceptions. Anderson's second interception was returned 62 yards for a touchdown to give Ottawa a 21-3 lead late in the second quarter. It is his fourth-career pick-six and second this season. Anderson also recorded eight tackles (five solo) and one pass break up.

On the season, Anderson leads the NAIA in passes defended per game (2.5), while ranking 17th in interceptions with five.

Dodge, a quarterback from Vancouver, Wash., broke his own program single-game record with 550 yards passing in the Raiders 63-35 victory against Frontier Conference rival Eastern Oregon. The sophomore completed 32-of-55 attempts, including four touchdowns to extend his streak of at least two touchdown passes to nine-straight games and surpass the 30 touchdown plateau on the season. He also tallied one rush for 11 yards to amass 561 total yards in the contest.

Dodge leads the NAIA in passing yards per game (426.6), total offense (3,933), total offense per game (437.0) and total passing (3,839), while ranking second in pass efficiency (168.8). This is the second national weekly award for Dodge this season.

Wiley, a defensive back from West Monroe, La., returned three punts for 67 yards, including a 68-yard touchdown that propelled the Blazers to a 14-0 lead early in the first quarter. It is his second punt return for a touchdown this season. Wiley nearly added another score on a kickoff return, breaking free for 72 yards before being stopped. He finished the contest with 110 kickoff return yards.

Wiley has emerged as one of the top punt returners in the NAIA this season, ranking second in punt return yards per attempt (20.8) and punt return yards (312). He is the second Belhaven player to receive the National Football Special Teams Player of the Week award in 2012.
