2009 NAIA D-II Men's Basketball All-Americans

Point Lookout, Mo. - The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has released its 2008-09 Division II Men's Basketball All-America Teams and William Walker (Bethel, Ind.), a 6-6 senior from Michigan City, Mich. earned Player-of-the-Year honors. Walker averaged 20 points and 8.8 rebounds per game for the Pilots and led them to a 33-4 record and a trip to the Final Four. He also was named the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) player-of-the-year back on Sunday evening (March 16).
Walker is joined on the first team by DeSean White (Northwood (Fla.)) a 6-7 senior from Philadelphia, Pa., who is the only player to be a repeat first-team selection. White averaged 19.5 points and nearly 10 rebounds per game as he helped lead Northwood to the quarterfinals with a 27-6 overall record.
