2014-15 NAIA Division I Men?s Basketball All-Americans Announced

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) announced the 2014-15 Division I Men’s Basketball All-America Teams on Wednesday. Pikeville’s (Ky.) Kenny Manigault was named the NAIA National Player of the Year.
All of the selections are made by the All-America Committee and comprises a First, Second, Third and Honorable Mention Team. There are 10 members on each of the first three All-America teams.
Manigault (pictured) averaged 19.4 points per contest (641 total) in his team’s 33 games this season, helping lead Pikeville to a 28-6 mark and a trip the quarterfinals in the 2015 Buffalo Funds-NAIA Division I Men’s Basketball National Championship. He is the first Bears player to earn Player of the Year honors since the award commenced in 1994. Manigault also wreaked havoc on the defensive end, as he led all of Division I in steals with 83. He hit double-digit scoring in all but four games-played, and collected 10 double-doubles in the process.
Five players are repeat selections on the All-America Teams: Craig Anderson of Lindenwood-Belleville (Ill.), Semar Farris of Mid-America Christian (Okla.), Cameron Lewis of Freed-Hardeman (Tenn.), Brandon Peters of Talladega (Ala.) and Marty Wilkerson of St. Gregory’s (Okla.).
Following the conclusion of the national championship final game, Tony Ingle of Dalton State (Ga.) was named the 2014-15 Rawlings-NAIA Division I Men's Basketball Coach of the Year. Ingle, who is in his second season with the Roadrunners, guided his team to a 32-4 record on its way to the national title. The basketball program is in its second-year of varsity existence and first year being championship eligible. The squad wrapped up its second-year with a 58-8 overall record.
On March 17, Campbellsville (Ky.) head coach Keith Adkins was honored as the NABC-NAIA Division I Men’s Basketball Coach of the Year. Adkins engineered a 29-6 campaign and led his squad to an appearance in the second round of the national championship. This marks the first time a Tigers men's basketball coach has received the honor and also the first award for any Mid-South Conference men's basketball head coach.
