KANSAS CITY, Mo. – [Schedule | Bracket] The NAIA Round of 16 wrapped up on Friday evening, as four more teams moved onto the National Quarterfinals, as a one-seed, No. 1 Oklahoma Wesleyan, a pair of two seeds, No. 2 Thomas More (Ky.), No. 2 Talladega (Ala.) and the highest remaining seed, No. 5 Concordia (Neb.) all moved onto the National Quarterfinals on Saturday.

Oklahoma Wesleyan – No. 1 (Liston)
- The Eagles improve to 34-2 overall on the season.
- Final 16-point margin matches the second biggest margin of victory in the round of 16. Arizona Christian beat Bethel (Kan.) 82-66.
- Second Quadrant No. 1 seed to advance to the Quarterfinals.
- OKWU Held a 44-30 advantage in rebounds over LSU-S. The Eagles came into play ranked third in the NAIA in rebound margin (10.7)
- Held LSU-S under their scoring average by nearly 13 points. Entered the Round of 16 ranked fourth in the NAIA in scoring defense (61.7).

- The Pilots in their season at 27-7 overall.
- Ninth in the NAIA in points per game (83.7) entering the Round of 16. Held under that average for just ninth time in 34 games, all loses.
- Limited to 7-of-8 from the free throw line (matching their fewest free throws in a game this season). Entered the Round of 16 as the NAIA leader in free throws per game (17.6); 75-percent per game
- Leondre Washington entered the Round of 16 with a 16.6 ppg average. He finished the game with 20 points, marking his ninth game this season scoring 20 or more points.

Game 2 – Thomas More (Ky.) vs. SAGU (Texas)

- Fewest points scored this season - 44.
- Nathan Bailey with 20 points, fourth time this season he has scored 20 or more points. Averaged 6.6 ppg this season. He hit four of the three, 3-pointers made by SAGU in the loss.
Game 3 – Talladega (Ala.) vs. Jamestown (N.D.)
Talladega (Ala.) – No. 2 (Duer)
- The Tornadoes improve to 30-5 on the season.
- Headed into the Round of 16, Talladega was ranked eighth in the NAIA in three-point field goals made per game (10); ranked 10th in 3-point percentage (38.2). Finished the game with four, three-point field goals at 30.8 percent.
- Leads the NAIA in scoring defense (58.1); third in field goal defense (38.2) and ninth in 3-point defense (28.9). Held Jamestown to 56, on 36.7 percent shooting overall and 19-percent from three-point range.
- Held Jamestown to 25 points in the first half, marking the 14th time in 34 games they’ve held an opponent to 25 or fewer points at the half.
- Second of three No. 2 seeds in the Round of 16 to advance to Quarterfinals.
- Improves to 5-3 overall in NAIA National Tournament.
Jamestown (N.D.) – No. 6 (Duer)
- The Jimmies end their season at 26-10.
- Headed into the Round of 16, Jamestown ranked eighth in the NAIA in 3-point percentage (38.5); limited to 4-of-21 (19.0) – second lowest total this season behind a 3-for-12 in a loss to Concordia (Neb.) on Jan. 15.
- Ranked fourth in the NAIA in rebound margin (10.7); finished game with a 41-38 advantage on the boards.
- Fewest points at the half this season, passing the previous mark of 26 which came on Nov. 27 in a 66-59 win over Valley City State.
- Finished the game setting a new season low for points at 56 passing their previous low of 59 in a 64-59 loss to Mount Marty on Jan. 26.
- Loss drops Jamestown below .500 all-in NAIA National Tournament games at 11-12.
Game 4 – Concordia (Neb.) vs. IU Kokomo (Ind.)
Concordia (Neb.) – No. 5 (Duer)
- The Bulldogs improve to 28-6 on the season.
- CUNE moves to 6-1 on a neutral floor this season with their eighth-straight win.
- The Bulldogs never trailed the entire game; and played to a 16-16 tie in the first half, but never trailed.
- They were held under their season average of 8.6 three-point field goals made a game against the No. 2-ranked three-point defense – and finished with seven.
- Noah Schutte scored a game-high 24 points, leading three players in double figures. Fourth straight game with 20 or more points.
- Gage Smith hit 7-of-7 free throws as the Bulldogs finished the game at 84.6-percent (22-of 26).
- Concordia improves to 14-10 in NAIA Tournament play.
- The No. 5 seeded Bulldogs are the lowest seeded team remaining.
IU Kokomo (Ind.)
- The Cougars end their season with a record of 31-4.
- Tonight’s loss to Concordia (Neb.) snapped a 19-game winning streak.
- IU Kokomo entered the Round of 16 ranked No. 2 in the NAIA in 3-point defense (26.7). And held the Bulldogs below their season average of 3-pointers, allowing 31.8 percent.
- Finished with three players in double figures, led by Tayson Parker with 16. Trequan Spivey scored 14, while Desean Hampton added 13. The trio went 15-of-30 from the floor, accounting for 62.5 percent of IU-Kokomo’s total field goals.
- The fall to 4-2 all-time in NAIA National Tournament.
