2024-25 NAIA Men's Basketball Players of the Week - No. 11 (February 25)

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Anthony Johnson of Cumberlands (Ky.) was selected as the NAIA Men's Basketball Offensive Player of the Week, while Vincent Miszkiewicz of Keiser (Fla.) was selected as the NAIA Men's Basketball Defensive Player of the Week. The duo was selected based on their performances from February 17-23 and were chosen from a pool of conference/Continental Athletic Conference (Independents)/unaffiliated group nominees. 

Players of the Week are announced on Tuesdays on naia.org, Instagram, and X throughout the regular season.

NAIA Men's Basketball Offensive Player of the Week

Anthony Johnson, Cumberlands (Ky.) - JR - Guard

  • Johnson did it all for the Patriots on the offensive end of the court last week helping them clinch the Mid-South Conference Regular Season Title.
  • He paced UC to a pair of wins averaging 31.5 points per game and shooting nearly 50% from the floor.
  • On the week, Johnson shot 48.6% from the field, 43.8% from deep and 75.9% at the charity strip for a total of 63 points.

NAIA Men's Basketball Defensive Player of the Week

Vincent Miszkiewics, Keiser (Fla.) - SR - Forward

  • Miszkiewicz was a force on defense for the Seahawks last week, between, boards, blocks, and steals.
  • He secured 13 total boards on the road against Florida Memorial, adding seven blocks to his stats sheet in that game alone.
  • At home just a few days later, he picked up nine more boards with a pair of steals and blocks, to average 11 boards and 4.5 blocks per game.
