2024-25 NAIA Men's Basketball Players of the Week - No. 5 (January 14)
KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Anton Webb of Taylor (Ind.) secured both NAIA Men's Basketball Offensive Player of the Week honors and NAIA Men's Basketball Defensive Player of the Week honors. Webb was selected based on performances from January 6-12 and was chosen from a pool of conference/Continental Athletic Conference (Independents)/unaffiliated group nominees.
Players of the Week are announced on Tuesdays on naia.org, Instagram, and X throughout the regular season.

NAIA Men's Basketball Offensive and Defensive Player of the Week
Anton Webb, Taylor (Ind.) - SR - Forward
Offensive
- Webb was a walking bucket for the Trojans in two games last week, scoring a total of 59 points.
- In the 79-76 victory over No. 22 Indiana Wesleyan, he shot 75% from the floor and 50% beyond the arc, scoring 26 points.
- He then continued his big performance on Saturday, leading Taylor to a 110-102 three-overtime victory against Goshen (Ind.).
- In the triple overtime victory, he shot 59.1% from the field, and 40% from deep, securing a double-double (33 points, 20 boards).
Defensive
- Webb's big week didn't stop on the offensive side of the floor. Defensively, he averaged 14 boards, one steal, and two blocks over the two games last week.
- On the defensive end of the floor, during the triple overtime victory, Webb came down with 17 defensive boards and swatted away three Goshen shots.
- One of Webb's blocks included the potential game-winning layup, forcing the first of three overtime periods.
