2024-25 NAIA Men's Basketball Players of the Week - No. 7 (January 28)

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Keenan Jones of Missouri Valley secured NAIA Men's Basketball Offensive Player of the Week honors, and Collin Parker of Columbia (Mo.) was named the NAIA Men's Basketball Defensive Player of the Week. The duo was selected based on their performances from January 20-27 and were chosen from a pool of conference/Continental Athletic Conference (Independents)/unaffiliated group nominees. 

Players of the Week are announced on Tuesdays on naia.org, Instagram, and X throughout the regular season.

NAIA Men's Basketball Offensive Player of the Week

Keenan Jones, Missouri Valley - GR - Guard

  • Jones had the hot hand for the Vikings last week in their two road wins averaging 33.5 minutes played per game.
  • Shot a combined 61.9% from beyond the arc and he tied the school record with nine made triples against Mount Mercy (Iowa).
  • Jones also set a new career-high in the same game with 37 points.

NAIA Men's Basketball Defensive Player of the Week

Collin Parker, Columbia (Mo.) - SR - Forward

  • Parker had a standout week defensively for the Cougars coming down with 35 total boards across three American Midwest Conference games.
  • In addition to the rebounds, he also protected the rim with seven total blocks.
  • Across the three games, and 29.7 minutes per game played, Parker averaged 11.7 boards, 0.3 steals, and 2.3 blocks.
