2024-25 NAIA Men's Basketball Players of the Week - No. 9 (February 11)
KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Will Kelly of Columbia International (S.C.) was selected as the NAIA Men's Basketball Offensive Player of the Week, while Omarion Smith of Dalton State (Ga.) was selected as the NAIA Men's Basketball Defensive Player of the Week. The duo was selected based on their performances from February 3-9 and were chosen from a pool of conference/Continental Athletic Conference (Independents)/unaffiliated group nominees.
Players of the Week are announced on Tuesdays on naia.org, Instagram, and X throughout the regular season.

NAIA Men's Basketball Offensive Player of the Week
Will Kelly, Columbia International (S.C.) - JR - Guard
- Kelly guided the Rams to a pair of wins last week as he set a new program record.
- In the win over Montreat (N.C.), Kelly scored a record setting 43 points while shooting 58.8% from the floor and 70% beyond the arc.
- Overall, in two games Kelly shot 62.1% from the field, 60% from deep, and 88% at the charity stripe putting up a total of 67 points.
NAIA Men's Basketball Defensive Player of the Week
Omarion Smith, Dalton State (Ga.) - JR - Forward
- Over three games, last week for the Road Runners Smith, was key on the defensive end of the floor.
- In the two wins against Abraham Baldwin (Ga.), he protected the air space around the rim with ten blocks combined.
- In total, Smith tallied a double-double with 14 boards and 14 blocks.
