KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Jesse Washington of Williams Baptist (Ark.) picks up the final Gared Performance Sports Systems NAIA Men's Basketball Offensive Player of the Week honors to close out the award for the 2025-26 season.

Washington, now a two-time national offensive player of the week, posted a stellar week as he put up 40 points in 32 minutes played, becoming the third player in program history to do so in a single game. He was on fire all game, shooting 72.7% from the floor, 66.7% from deep, and went 2-of-4 at the charity stripe. Washington was strong on the glass as well, collecting 11 boards as WBU cruised to a 114-67 win against Harris-Stowe (Mo.).

Two days later, he played 37 minutes and scored 31 points against Mission (Mo.). His shooting percentages dipped slightly, but he still shot the lights out, going 55.6% from the floor, 50% beyond the arc, and 88.9% at the foul line. Washington kept his presence on the boards, pulling down 10, while also dishing out five assists and collecting three steals.

Washington and WBU are back in action on Feb. 19 against Central Baptist (Ark.). Tipoff is set for 7:30 p.m. CT inside Southerland-Mabee Center.
