KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Philander Smith (Ark.) senior forward Raymond Reece is the Gared Performance Sports Systems NAIA Men's Basketball Player of the Week, awarded Dec. 2, after a pair of 30-plus scoring outings and 66-percent shooting in two wins during the Thanksgiving week. 

Reece opened the week with 35 points in 36 minutes, helping the Panthers beat Central Baptist (Ark.), 78-68, adding a double-double with 18 rebounds to collect his seventh double-double of the season. Reece shot 75 percent in the win over CBC, 15-for-20 from the floor, making five of his six free-throw attempts. 

He followed with his eighth double-double of the year, a 32-point, 16-rebound effort in an 85-75 win over Arkansas Baptist. Reece was perfect from the foul line against the Buffaloes, 9-for-9, and 11-for-19 from the floor. 

On the week, Reece was 26-for-39 shooting, 66.7 percent, and 14-for-15 at the foul line. He collected 34 rebounds on the week, averaging 17, and added five assists.
