KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Devin Davenport of Missouri Valley set a new program record with 50 points and 31 field goal attempts on the road to earn Gared Performance Sports Systems NAIA Men's Basketball Player of the Week honors.

In the two road games last week for the Vikings, Davenport shot 50% from the floor and 47.4% from distance across the two games, reaching his peak shooting performance at William Penn (Iowa) where he shot 51.6% from the field and 54.5% from beyond the arc, dropping a cool 50 points.

His hot shooting made him tough to take out of the game last week, as he recorded 73 total minutes.

MVC is back in action at home against Columbia (Mo.) before hitting the road for a game against Northeastern State.
