2025 NAIA Men's Lacrosse Players of the Week - No. 6 (April 1)

KANSAS CITY, Mo. –  Breck Putzier of William Penn (Iowa) has been named the NAIA Men's Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week, while Joseph Loria of Concordia (Mich.) was selected as the NAIA Men's Lacrosse Defensive Player of the Week. Men's Lacrosse Players of the Week are selected based on performances from March 24-30 and were chosen out of a pool of conference/Continental Athletic Conference (Independents)/unafilliated group nominees. 

Players of the Week are announced weekly on Tuesdays on naia.org, Instagram, and X/Twitter throughout the regular season.

NAIA Men's Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week

Breck Putzier, William Penn (Iowa)- SR - Attacker

  • Putzier, for the second time this season, earned national offensive player of the week honors with two stellar road performances.
  • During the shutout victory on the road at Midland (Neb.) he tallied 15 points on four goals and 11 assists.
  • He picked up three ground balls, while firing off 10 shots and putting half of them on frame.

NAIA Men's Lacrosse Defensive Player of the Week

Joseph Loria, Concordia (Mich.) - GR - Goalkeeper

  • Led the Cardinals to the second straight upset of the season in just his second game between the sticks.
  • Loria posted a 73.3 save percentage against fourth-ranked Indiana Tech, while setting a new Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference record for most saves in a game at 33.
  • He allowed just 12 goals in the game while collecting the win after playing a full 60-minutes in net.
