Bryce Peltier of Columbia (Mo.) Shut the Door in Goal to Earn Defensive Player of the Week Honors

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Bryce Peltier of the Columbia (Mo.) Cougars were rock solid in the cage against No. 10 Lawrence Tech (Mich.), helping Columbia to secure the 13-8 upset victory, while he picked up NAIA Men's Lacrosse Defensive Player of the Week Honors.

The senior goalkeeper stood tall between the sticks from the opening faceoff to the final whistle in the first game of 2026, picking up 14 saves in a huge early-season win for the crew.

Peltier and company are back in action later this afternoon, Feb. 17, in Michigan. The Cougars will look to run their game one performance back against (RV) Michigan-Dearborn. Opening faceoff is set for 6 p.m. CT.
