Max Standage Leads Keiser (Fla.) to 2-0 Week in AAC, Collecting NAIA Men's Lacrosse Defensive Honor

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Max Standage is the March 24 NAIA Men's Lacrosse Defensive Player of the Week after second-ranked Keiser (Fla.) posted a 2-0 mark in the Appalachian Athletic Conference, including a win over No. 6 SCAD Savannah (Ga.) that marked the Bees' lowest offensive output of the season. 

Stangage, and the Seahawks beat both SCAD and Columbia (S.C.), beginning with a 26-4 win over Columbia before holding SCAD to its lowest total of the year in an 18-9 win. 

The Mesa, Ariz., native set a school record for caused turnovers against the Bees (10) and produced 15 ground balls on the week, 13 against SCAD. 

Keiser is back in action twice this week, both times on the road, starting Thursday at Montreat (N.C.), before traveling to No. 6 Cumberlands (Ky.) Saturday.
