Keiser (Fla.) Sophomore Ryan Stowell Named Men's Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week
KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Keiser (Fla.) sophomore Ryan Stowell scored seven of the second-ranked Seahawks' 36 goals in a pair of double-digit wins, last week, earning NAIA Men's Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week Honors for March 17.
Stowell, from Wellington, Fla., continues to lead the Seahawks in scoring as KU picked up a pair of conference wins last week. He opened the week with four goals and two assists at Point (Ga.) in a 19-5 win for the Seahawks.
He followed that up with three goals and two assists at Life (Ga.), as Keiser defeated the Running Eagles, 17-7. With the pair of hat tricks on the week, Stowell has totaled three this season and 10 for his career. He converted 50.0 percent of his shots into scores. On the year, Stowell is averaging 5.00 goals per game and 6.33 points per game.
Keiser is 3-0, and the Seahawks' next game is Thursday (March 19), hosting Columbia (S.C.) in West Palm Beach.
