Chicago Fire Hire Former Judson Soccer Player Aron Hyde as Goal Keeper Coach

ELGIN, Ill. – The success of the Judson University men’s soccer program continues to grow through its alumnus as former player and goal keeper Aron Hyde has been hired as the Chicago Fire’s goal keeper coach. Hyde played for Steve Burke from 2002 to 2004.
While at Judson, Hyde was a part of a very successful era. In 2002 the team won the program’s fifth NCCAA National Championship with a 20-7 record. The following year his team won 17 matches and then his senior year Judson went 23-1-1 and advanced to the second round of the NAIA National Tournament losing to the eventual national champion (Lindsey Wilson). The 2004 season also brought a perfect 21-0 regular undefeated season.
He has spent the last three years as the goal keepers coach at NCAA Division I Seattle University.
Judson University boasts the most wins in the NAIA as a program and has the winningest NAIA coach in Steve Burke. Judson has won 585 program wins and Steve Burke has recorded 465 career wins. Judson has won 21 conference championships with 20 coming under Burke. Judson has also won six NCCAA (National Christian Collegiate Athletic Association) National Championships and been to six NAIA National Tournaments.
