NAIA Men?s Soccer Players of the Week ? No. 6 (Oct. 11)

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Mauricio Salgado of Trinity Christian (Ill.) has been named the NAIA National Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week and Bryan McDowell of Cincinnati Christian (Ohio) has been named the NAIA National Men's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week, the national office announced Tuesday.

National Offensive Player of the Week               
Mauricio Salgado, Trinity Christian (Ill.)
5-11, Sr., F, Wauconda, Ill.

• In two matches this week, Salgado recorded six goals, tallying 12 points.
• He posted a hat trick in both games this week against Moody Bible (Ill.) and Calumet (Ind.).
• Salgado ranks No. 4 in the NAIA in total goals (16), goals per game (1.33) and total points (36).

National Defensive Player of the Week
Bryan McDowell, Cincinnati Christian (Ohio)
6-2, Jr., GK, Cincinnati, Ohio

• McDowell recorded back-to-back shutout victories against Asbury (Ky.) and Hiwassee (Tenn.).
• Posted 13 combined saves, including five against conference rival Asbury.
• He was credited with the assist in the only goal against Hiwassee.
