Cumberlands' Titouan Bernot Continues Patriots Hold on Men's Swimming Weekly Awards, Claiming for Jan. 21

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Titouan Bernot became the third Cumberlands (Ky.) swimmer to earn NAIA Men's Swimming and Diving weekly recognition in 2025-26, winning six events in his last two meets to earn the Patriots' fifth NAIA Swimmer and Diver of the Week of the 2025-26 season, Jan. 21.

A freshman from Nancy, France, Bernot made his UC debut in January against Gardner-Webb, Centre, and Transylvania, winning all six events with a trio of A cuts and three provisional cuts. Highlighting his month was his 200 free, where he clocked 1:36.66, the top NAIA time by almost a second.

He also broke the UC school record, set in 2009, by almost two seconds. He also won the 100-yard free with a 46.42, while going 4:38.33 in the 500 free. Bernot has been part of a pair of UC-winning relays.

Bernot joins Aiden Crutchfield and Alexander Poulsen, who combined to win the first four awards of the 2025-26 season, for Cumberlands.

The Patriots are back in action Jan. 24, at home against Milligan (Tenn.), followed by the Mid-South Conference Championships Feb. 5-6 in Danville, Ky.
