KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Avery Abram of William Carey (Miss.) has been named the NAIA Men’s Indoor Field Athlete of the Week. Abram delivered a standout performance at the Samford Open on January 17.

The Tylertown, Mississippi, native rose above a competitive field in the high jump, securing first place against 21 athletes with a top clearance of 2.10 meters. Abram’s winning mark not only separated him from the rest of the field, but it also met the “A” standard.
