KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Indiana Tech freshman Damien Keys has been named the NAIA Men’s Field Athlete of the Week after delivering a standout performance in the long jump at the Orange & Black Invitational on February 6, 2026.

Keys competed against a 16-athlete field and captured first place with a season-best leap of 7.49 meters. The 7.49m mark not only secured the event win, but also strengthened Keys’ NAIA “A” standard in the long jump.

The team will head to Michigan for the GVSU Big Meet on February 13 for their next meet.
