BALDWIN CITY, Kan. – Pedro Cardoso of Grand View and Oscar Fiorento and Billy Crow of Park University earned this week’s NAIA Men’s Volleyball Player, Setter and Libero of the Week awards respectively.

Cardoso, the 2014 NAIA-AVCA Men’s Volleyball Player of the Year, averaged an impressive 7.03 kills per set in Grand View’s two wins a week ago and a hitting percentage of 7.03. The No. 2 ranked Vikings defeated Ottawa and No. 4 St. Ambrose in five sets last week.

Fiorento is a freshman setter from Corozal, Puerto Rico and averaged 12.5 assists per set in No. 6 Park’s two wins last week against Dordt and No. 7 Clarke.

Crow captured the national libero of the week award for the first time in his career on Monday, after averaging 3.33 digs per set and a perfect passing percentage in both of this matches for the Pirates.
