KANSAS CITY, Mo. – (Pool Play Schedule | Bracket) The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics has officially announced the qualifiers for the 2022 Men's Volleyball National Championship. The 12 team field will begin play on April 12 at the final site in Des Moines, Iowa at the MidAmerican Energy Company RecPlex.

This year's field includes eight automatic bids and four at-large selections. The automatic berths are determined by conference/group regular-season or tournament winners. The remaining at-large bids were determined by a selection committee.

Action inside the MidAmerican Energy Company RecPlex will begin with three days of pool play starting on April 12 and ending on April 14. The semifinals will take place on April 15 and the championship on April 16.

All pool play matches will be streamed on the NAIA Network and the semifinals and the championship will be streamed on ESPN3

Qualifier Highlights

• There are four teams that have qualified for all three championships: Benedictine Mesa (Ariz.), Grand View (Iowa), Park (Mo.) and Saint Xavier (Ill.).
• There are six teams that have qualified for two championships: Aquinas (Mich.), Campbellsville (Ky.), Georgetown (Ky.), Indiana Tech, Jamestown (N.D.) and Vanguard (Calif.)
• There are two first time qualifiers in the tournament field: Ottawa (Ariz.) and William Penn (Iowa)
• Two teams in the field have won a title: Benedictine Mesa (Ariz.) and Grand View (Iowa)
• No team enters the tournament undefeated
• Benedictine Mesa currently holds the best championship tournament record at 8-1.
