KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Gabriel Negrao of St. Thomas (Fla.) has been named the NAIA Men’s Volleyball Attacker of the Week, Trevor Weinert of Benedictine Mesa (Ariz.) has been named the NAIA Men’s Volleyball Defender of the Week, and Pedro Aguiar of Lawrence Tech (Mich.) has been named the NAIA Men's Volleyball Setter of the Week. The trio was selected based on their performances from February 3-9 and were chosen out of a pool of conference/Continental Athletic Conference (Independents)/unaffiliated group nominees.

Players of the Week are announced weekly throughout the regular season on Tuesdays on naia.org, Instagram, and X.

NAIA Men's Volleyball Attacker of the Week 

Gabriel Negrao, St. Thomas (Fla.) – FR – Outside Hitter

• Totaled 38 kills in a pair of wins for an average of 4.75 kills per set
• Recorded an attack percentage of .446 with nine errors on 65 total attacks
• Added 16 digs on the week while also having three total blocks
• Aided St. Thomas (Fla.) to wins over Webber International (Fla.) and Warner (Fla.)

NAIA Men's Volleyball Defender of the Week

Trevor Weinert, Benedictine Mesa (Ariz.) – SR – Middle Blocker

• Totaled 24 total blocks for an average of 1.33 blocks per set
• Recorded 11 digs during the week
• Also posted a .419 attack percentage
• Led Benedictine Mesa (Ariz.) to a 4-1 record during the week

NAIA Men's Volleyball Setter of the Week 

Pedro Aguiar, Lawrence Tech (Mich.) – FR – Setter

• Recorded 114 assists for an average of 11.40 assists per set in three matches (10 sets)
• Had a double-double in a 3-1 win over William Penn (Iowa) with 48 assists and 11 digs
• Added 20 digs on the week with two kills
• Aided Lawrence Tech (Mich.) to wins over Siena Heights (Mich.), No. 3 Grand View (Iowa), and No. 5 William Penn (Iowa)
