TMU's Anderson Wins at Home, Claiming NAIA Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week
KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Jack Anderson led wire-to-wire at The Master's (Calif.) Cross Country Invitational, winning the event by three seconds to claim NAIA Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week honors for Sept. 24.
Anderson's 24:11 was three seconds better than 24:14 from Brogan Collins, Anderson's teammate and last week's NAIA Runner of the Week. Anderson led the field of 220 runners, and helped the Mustangs run away with a team title, 24 points in front of Embry-Riddle (Ariz.).
The Master's returns to the cross country course Oct. 4, at the Pomona-Pitzer Invitational in Claremont, Calif.
The Mustangs are home, Saturday, hosting The Master's College Cross Country Invitational. For more on NAIA Men’s Cross Country Runners of the Week throughout the 2025 season, visit NAIA.org.
