KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Krisilyn Corral of the Texas A&M San Antonio Jaguars strikes gold with a 2-0 week in the circle for NAIA Softball Pitcher of the Week honors to open the 2026 season.

Over two games to open the season, Corral tossed seven total innings, sitting 11 batters down. She had offensive support from the team as they defeated Oklahoma Panhandle State 8-0 and 4-3. In the game, one starts alone. Corral allowed four hits and struck out seven, tossing a complete game.

In game two, she came in for two innings of relief, striking out four batters and not allowing a single hit.

Corral and the Jaguars are back in action on Feb. 6 at the Ward 9 Sportsplex when they take on Louisiana Christian and Central Baptist (Ark.)
