KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Jayden Sawyer of William Carey (Miss.) was locked in from the circle last week, tossing her third no-hitter of this season, following it up with a one-hit shutout against Abraham Baldwin (Ga.). She earns NAIA Softball Pitcher of the Week honors.

She opened the week, earning the win in a 5-0 no-hitter, while striking out nine batters. Sawyer followed that up a day later and cranked up the heat, sitting 13 ABAC batters down and allowing just one hit over her six innings pitched for the 10-0 victory.

Sawyer and Co. are back on the diamond March 20 for a double-header at home against Thomas (Ga.) beginning at 4 p.m.
