Cambell Riordan of Friends (Kan.) was a Hitting Machine Last Week to Earn Player of the Week Honors
KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Cambell Riordan of Friends (Kan.) was seeing the ball extremely well last week for the Falcons. Striking out only three times across 28 at-bats, she was the fuel to the Falcons' offensive production, earning NAIA Softball Player of the Week Honors.
Riordan was 16-for-28 across nine games last week and was a tough out for opponents. Scoring 11 total runs on eight doubles, one triple, and three home runs; add all those hits up, and she drove in 20 total runs herself alone. 32 total place appearances and 35 total bases; Riordan's slash is a highlight at .571/.625/1.250.
She was also great in the field as well, having just one error on 57 total chances for a .982 fielding percentage.
Riordan and the Falcons are back in the dugout on Feb. 28 for the Top Gun Invite in Kansas City, Mo. The Falcons will take on Doane (Neb.) and William Woods (Mo.) at 12:15 p.m. and 4:45 p.m. CT, respectively.
