Moberg Breaks Keiser (Fla.) Record for Flag Pulls, earning NAIA Defensive Player of the Week

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Dakota Moberg led Keiser (Fla.) to a 2-0 week in The Sun Conference, totaling 24 flag pulls to earn NAIA Women's Flag Football Defensive Player of the Week for March 25. 

Moberg, a sophomore from Port Saint Lucie, Fla., opened the week with a team-best 10 pulls in a 35-7 win at Point (Ga.), adding her third interception of the season in the win. A day later, she set a new Keiser record for flag pulls in a game with 14, as the Seahawks topped Brewton-Parker Christian (Miss.), 34-12. 

She also contributed to the Keiser offense, catching a pair of touchdown passes in 11 receptions for 164 yards receiving.

In 2026, Moberg leads Keiser with 64 flag pulls, a total that is third-best in NAIA Women's Flag Football. 

The Seahawks resume their Sun Conference schedule Saturday, at home, against Florida Memorial.
