Keiser's Moberg Repeats as NAIA Women's Flag Football Defensive Honoree

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Keiser (Fla.) linebacker and wide receiver Dakota Moberg is the NAIA Women's Flag Football Defensive Player of the Week for a second consecutive time to close the month of March after leading the Seahawks in a shutout win last week over conference rival Florida Memorial.

Moberg helped the Seahawks to their second shutout win of the year with eight flag pulls and three interceptions, one that went all the way back for a 28-yard touchdown.

Keiser limited Florida Memorial to 3.2 yards per play in the win, and Moberg continued her impressive season statistical line, registering 76 flag pulls, which is fourth-best in the NAIA, along with six interceptions, three flag pulls for loss, and one sack.

Moberg has two INTs for touchdowns this season, and last week against FMU, she also added to the Keiser offense with a TD, adding four catches for 42 yards.

The Sun Conference has all six NAIA Defensive Player of the Week designations in 2026 and two of the six offensive nods, claiming eight of a possible 12 awards on the year.

Keiser's schedule resumes Thursday in West Palm Beach, hosting Webber International (Fla.), and Saturday, the Seahawks are on the road at St. Thomas. Both games will air on the Urban Edge Network at www.urbanedgenetwork.net
