Anderson Gets Top-Ranked Braves on the Board as NAIA Offensive Player of the Week
KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Ottawa (Kan.) freshman quarterback Anna Anderson picked up the third NAIA Offensive Player of the Week award of the 2026 season, getting the top-ranked Braves on the board for weekly honors after 486 yards and 10 touchdowns across two KCAC wins last week.
Anderson, from Kansas City, Mo., was 44-of-51 passing, completing 86.2 percent of her pass attempts last week.
She opened the week in a 78-0 win over Bethel (Kan.), playing the first half against the Threshers with 234 yards on 14-of-17 and five touchdowns. She added 30 completions on 34 tries and 252 yards in a 43-0 win, later in the week against Southwestern (Kan.).
Anderson also rushed six times for 49 yards and caught a 27-yard pass on the week.
Ottawa is 4-0 on the year and gets its first ranked KCAC test of the 2026 season on Wednesday, traveling to No. 4 Baker (Kan.) at 6 p.m. CT. The game will air on Urban Edge Network.
