Vincensini, Lux-Offerman Claim Flag Football Weekly Awards for Warner (Fla.)

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - No. 3 Warner (Fla.) continued its hold on NAIA Women's Flag Football Players of the Week, March 17, as freshman Avalon Lux-Offerman picked up the offensive nod, while senior Ana Vincensini was the NAIA's Defensive Player of the Week following a 4-0 stretch for the third-ranked Royals.

Warner outscored opponents 263-6 on the week, and it started on defense with Vincensini. She had 23 flag pulls and four interceptions, including one for a touchdown.

Vincensini was disruptive for opposing offenses, helping Warner beat Siena Heights (Mich.) 66-0, Saint Francis (Ind.) 48-6, Wittenburg 90-0, and Point (Ga.), 59-0. She was also responsible for seven touchdowns on offense and added another on defense. Vincensini was part of a receiving corps that was headlined by Lux-Offerman.

Lux-Offerman averaged more than 100 receiving yards across the four wins, catching 39 passes for 401 yards, including 145 yards and three touchdowns against Siena Heights. That started a four-game run of three-score games for Lux-Offerman, who caught 12 touchdown passes on the week - three in each game.

She tacked on another 100-yard receiving game in the 90-0 win over Wittenburg, and her 12-TD total did not include a pair of laterals that went for Warner scores with Lux-Offerman in the middle of the play.

Now 10-0, the Royals have allowed six points this season, shutting out nine opponents. That 10-game win streak will be on the line Monday (March 23) at No. 10 Life (Ga.), in Marietta, Ga.
