2018 NAIA Women's Golfer of the Week ? No. 3 (April 4)

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Aleesha Smith of William Carey (Miss.) has been named the NAIA National Women’s Golfer of the Week, the national office announced Wednesday. Smith was selected based on her performances from March 29 – April 3 and was chosen out of a pool of conference, Association of Independent Institutions and unaffiliated group winners.

• Shot a two-round 148 to take the individual title at the Phoenix Invitational
• Smith finished 1st out of 71 total golfers
• Smith helped lead the Lady Crusaders to a second-place finish out of 12 teams
