KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Malisone Chanthapanya of Texas Wesleyan has been named the NAIA Women’s Golfer of the Week. The winner was selected based on their performances from April 15-21 and was chosen out of a pool of conference/Continental Athletic Conference (Independents)/unaffiliated group nominees. 

Golfers of the Week are announced weekly throughout the regular season on Wednesdays on naia.org, Instagram and Twitter.

NAIA Women’s Golfer of the Week

Malisone Chanthapanya, Texas Wesleyan - SR

• Took individual honors at the Texas Wesleyan Spring Invite. 
• Shot a two-under-par score of 214 at the tournament held at Squaw Creek Golf Course.
• Won the tournament by five strokes as the Rams won the team crown by 62 strokes.
