YPSILANTI, Mich. – First-round play at the 2025 NAIA Women’s Golf National Championship was suspended by darkness, and Wednesday, competitors from six teams finished the round at 7 a.m. ET.
British Columbia holds the first-round team lead, at 9-over par, four shots better than Marian (Ind.), and nine in front of Keiser (Fla.). Milligan (Tenn.) and SCAD Savannah (Ga.) round out the first five teams in the 30-team field.
SCAD Savannah's Sharon Shan is the individual leader, shooting 7-under 65, followed by British Columbia’s Jessica Ng, who is 3-under through 18 holes with the day’s only other sub-70 round.
Oklahoma City’s Maddi Kamas and Marian’s Emma Weiler are both 1-under, and Keiser’s Sophia Sindersberger is even par after one round, closing the top five on the individual leaderboard.
Second-round play resumed after the conclusion of the first-round, Wednesday, with complete results for the championship on SCOREBOARD, Powered by Clippd.
