2025 NAIA Women's Lacrosse Players of the Week - No. 5 (March 18)

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Chanterra Allen of Benedictine (Kan.) has been named the NAIA Women's Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week, while Emma Rittman of Cumberlands (Ky.) was selected as the NAIA Women's Lacrosse Defensive Player of the Week.  Players of the week are selected based on performances from March 10-16 and are chosen out of a pool of conference/Continental Athletic Conference (Independents)/unafilliated group nominees. 

Players of the Week are announced weekly on Tuesdays on naia.org, Instagram, and X/Twitter throughout the regular season.

NAIA Women's Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week

Chanterra Allen, Benedictine (Kan.) - JR - Attacker

  • Allen, was on point last week in the Ravens two games, helping her team to a pair of wins.
  • Recording a hat trick in each of them, she notched a total of 12 goals, and 17 shots.
  • She was near perfect on finding the frame on her 17 shots, putting 88.2% of them on target.

NAIA Women's Lacrosse Defensive Player of the Week

Emma Rittman, Cumberlands (Ky.) - JR - Midfielder

  • The junior midfilder was a staple in the Patriots defense last week as they picked up a pair of wins at home.
  • Rittman was a force on draw controls, securing 22 of them, while also securing her 400th career draw control.
  • Her role on the defensive side of the field, helped to hold, the Tennessee Wesleyan Bulldogs to 33% on clears.
