Benedictine (Kan.) Highlights 2026 NAIA Women's Lacrosse All-American Honors and Special Awards

DECATUR, Ala. - The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) announced the 2026 NAIA Women's Lacrosse All-Americans, Player of the Year, and Coach of the Year honors Sunday evening ahead of the opening draw at the sixth annual national championship in Decatur, Ala., at Jack Allen Sports Complex. In total, 48 student-athletes are represented across 12 teams and four conferences.

The 2026 NAIA Women's Lacrosse Player of the Year is Kaylen Moore of Benedictine (Kan.). The Seattle, Wash., native has once again put together a stellar season for the Ravens. The 5-foot-8 senior is among the best of the best in the association, ranking third in points (100) and assists (44) while having won 144 draw controls so far this season, the best mark in NAIA Women's Lacrosse, helping her team to secure possession early and often right away in games.

The 2026 NAIA Women's Lacrosse Coach of the Year is Clare Hanson. Head coach Hanson is in her fifth year with Ravens' Women's Lacrosse. Having already taken two red banners back to Atchison, Kan., in 2021 and 2025. This season, ahead of the sixth annual national tournament getting underway on Monday, May 11, her team ranks among the top three nationally in nine different categories including, goals per game (22.50) and draw controls per game (21.38).

The Patriots of Cumberlands (Ky.) posted the most All-Americans in 2026, having eight honorees, while seven Ravens received honors across all three teams. Keiser (Fla.) and Ave Maria (Fla.) followed with six and five representatives, respectively. Then SCAD Savannah (Ga.) and Lawrence Tech (Mich.) student-athletes received four all-American nods.
