Players of the Week - No. 10
KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Jamie Achten of Lee (Tenn.) has been named the NAIA National Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week and Point Loma Nazarene's (Calif.) Tiffany Kracy has been selected as NAIA National Women's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week, the national office announced Tuesday. The final honorees of the 2011 season were selected based on their performances from Oct. 31 - Nov. 6 and were chosen out of a pool of conference/independent/unaffiliated groupings.

Achten became the NAIA's all-time career assist leader as the second-ranked Lady Flames defeated Southern Wesleyan (S.C.), 7-0, in the quarterfinals of the Southern States Athletic Conference Tournament. The senior forward dished out a pair of assists to push her four-year total to 86, breaking the previous record of 84 held by former NAIA member William Jewell's (Mo.) Kristin Neher (2001-04).

Hailing from Franklin, Tenn., Achten is ranked among the nation's top 20 in eight offensive statistical categories. She is first with 21 total assists and her 1.17 per game assist average. Achten is also fifth in total points (61) and points per game (3.39), 10th in shots on goal per game (3.06), 12th in goals per game (1.11) and total goals (20) and 20th in shots per game (5.0).

Kracy recorded two more shutouts to increase her total to 16 in her junior season. In the first round of the Golden State Athletic Conference Tournament, she made three saves to help the fifth-ranked Sea Lions move past Fresno Pacific (Calif.), 6-0. Facing No. 13 Westmont (Calif.) in the quarterfinals, Kracy denied seven shots as Point Loma Nazarene posted a 1-0 overtime victory.

The Whittier, Calif., native, has started all 20 games for the Sea Lions in goal and ranks second nationally in goals against per game with 0.29.
