Career Performances in the Sunshine State Give White of Cumberlands (Ky.) Defensive Player of the Week Honors
KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Cumberlands (Ky.) freshman goalkeeper Morgan White assembled a weekend for the books and kept busy between the sticks during the Patriots' two games in Florida over the weekend, where they picked up a 2-1 win over St. Thomas (Fla.)—then followed it up with the first-ever regular-season match and first victory against top-ranked Keiser (Fla.). The matchup also marked the first-ever NAIA-UEN Women's Soccer Featured Match of the 2025 season.
White played all 180 minutes in net for UC over the weekend and saw plenty of action with 17 total saves for a .944 save percentage. Against the Bobcats of STU, she posted a career high 10 saves, seven of those coming in the first half alone. The highlight of her weekend performance was in West Palm Beach, though, where she held No. 1 Keiser off the board with seven saves to earn the victory and collect her fourth clean sheet of the season.
White made big saves in the closing seconds of both matches to keep the margins where they were and give UC two resume wins on the season.
