KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Maaike Broersma of Lindsey Wilson (Ky.) has been named the NAIA Women's Swimmer of the Month. Swimmers/Divers are evaluated on their performance during the month before the announcement. Each swimmer/diver is selected out of a pool of nominees from around the country.

Players of the Month are announced monthly throughout the regular season on Wednesdays on naia.org, Instagram, and Twitter.

• Broersma had herself a month in the pool notching five individual wins, swimming in three relay wins.
• She also clipped an 'A' standard in the 100-yard back with a time of 56.79.
