KANSAS CITY, Mo.- Irene Parigi from Southeastern (Fla.) put together a perfect week in both singles and doubles to earn NAIA Women’s Tennis Player of the Week honors, leading the Fire to a 3-1 team record that included three wins over Top 15 opponents.

She made an immediate impact in a 4-1 win over No. 7 SCAD-Atlanta with a doubles victory, then followed with a 6-2, 6-2 singles win and a 6-2 doubles win against Middle Georgia State.

On the road, she continued her strong play in a 4-2 win over No. 14 St. Thomas, contributing another doubles victory before delivering the biggest moment of the week against No. 1 Keiser.
