2017 NAIA Women's Volleyball Players of the Week ? No. 2 (Sept. 12)

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Ema Altena of Dordt (Iowa) has been named the NAIA National Women’s Volleyball Attacker of the Week, Joely Roe of Presentation (S.D.) has been named the NAIA National Women’s Volleyball Defender of the Week and Danna Gomes of Park (Mo.) has been named the NAIA National Women’s Volleyball Setter of the Week for the week of Sept. 4-10, announced the National office Tuesday.

Attacker of the Week
Ema Altena, Dordt (Iowa)
6-0, JR, MB, Sioux Center, Iowa

  • Altena helped her team to an undefeated week against two Top 25 teams that include No. 12 Grand View (Iowa) and No. 24 Morningside (Iowa).
