2025 NAIA Women's Volleyball Championship Information

 

Below you will find some helpful information for the opening round and final site of the women's volleyball championship. 

We are here to partner with you and your school in the publicity efforts. The NAIA will track all of the opening round results on NAIA.org. Please note that if you have a Presto site, your schedule will show what we have posted on our website.

  • Qualifying teams and opening round match-ups and sites announced Nov. 17
  • Postseason roster (for use in championship program) Nov. 18 
  • Submit team photo for championship program in the Greenfly HERE  Nov. 18  
  • Opening round match setup in Presto (by host school)  Nov. 19
  • Verify your school's stats/records are correct in Presto Nov. 19 (NAIA Statistics)

 Opening Round

  • Opening Round Official Title (First Reference) – 2025 NAIA Women’s Volleyball Championship Opening Round
  • PrestoStats
    • All opening round matches will use Presto Stats Prime Time for live stats.
    • Hosts
      • Will set up opening round game in NAIA Presto Stats 
      • Include live stream and ticket links in the NAIA Stats Presto event that you set up. PrestoStats Login CLICK HERE. 
      • Include "NAIA WVB Opening Round" in the Notes Section and your venue in the Neutral Site section in the game set up.

  • Postseason Roster – Official Postseason Roster forms will be filled out via NAIA Connect (https://www.naiaconnect.org/s/login) and sent to the NAIA National Office. If you do not have a login account, please contact naiaconnectsupport@naia.org.  Once you login, please follow these instructions.
    • As conference tournaments are a part of the official NAIA postseason, postseason rosters should be submitted prior to the first game of conference tournaments.
    • Changes to the postseason roster MAY NOT be made once the CONFERENCE TOURNAMENT has begun but CAN be made BETWEEN the conference tournament and national championship play. If changes are made, PLEASE inform NAIA Athletics Communications Manager Katie Green (kgreen@naia.org) and NAIA Championship Manager (faubuchon@naia.org)  to ensure the correct roster is listed for the championship program.
    • Final site rosters are due at the final site coaches' registration, BUT rosters will be pulled for use in the official championship program prior to the championship. The individual completing the postseason roster will sign electronically.
    • Do not send postseason rosters via email or fax to the national office.
  • Edits to Statistics: If a team wants to make edits to game statistics after a match during the national tournament (this includes the opening round), edits must be approved by NAIA Athletics Communications. Please contact Katie Green (kgreen@naia.org). 
  • Downloads 
  • Watch Live/Broadcast Rights  
    • The NAIA owns the rights to all championship streaming. No additional live streams outside of the official stream produced by each host will be allowed.
    • Radio broadcasts are allowed. 
    • All NAIA Women's Volleyball Opening Round matches will be streamed on the NAIA Channel of the Urban Edge Network for free. 
  • Social Media – Please use the hashtags “#NAIAWVB” & "#BattleForTheRedBanner" for all Twitter/Facebook/Instagram content around the event and tag the NAIA 
  • Photography 
    • The opening round host is responsible for providing photography.
    • After the event, the host should upload five high-resolution photos to Greenfly as soon as possible to help the national office promote the opening round events. UPLOAD HERE Please tag the photo with the schools that are included in the match when you upload photos. 
  • Video
    • Hosts: If you happen to catch the final point on video, please send it to me after the match. With each match being on UEN, I should be able to pull it from there as well; however, different or closer angles would also be beneficial for the video we plan to put together for the final site. 
  • Media Credentials - Media credentials for opening rounds should be acquired directly from the host media coordinator. 

 Final Site

  • Final Site Official Title (First Reference) – Please refer to the national championship final site in Sioux City, Iowa, as the 2025 NAIA Women’s Volleyball Championship presented by Marriott South Sioux City Riverfront and Explore Siouxland.
  • Final Site Visitors Guide - CLICK HERE
  • Prestostats - The NAIA will schedule all games on the Prestostats network. If you have a Presto site, please refrain from setting up your own games, as they will appear once created by the national office. 
  • Edits to Statistics - If a team wants to make edits to game statistics during the national tournament (this includes the opening round), edits must be approved by NAIA Athletics Communications. Please contact Katie Green (kgreen@naia.org). 
  • Watch Live/Broadcast Rights
    • At the final site event in Sioux City, no school is allowed to produce a live video stream. The NAIA owns the rights to this and is producing the official championship video production on the NAIA Channel of the Urban Edge Network and the NAIA Network at the final site.     • Beginning 2024-25: no rights fee will need to be paid for radio broadcasts during the championship.

  • Downloads 
  • Media Credential Applications -  Applications will close 72 hours before the event starts. It is acceptable to apply for and not need a credential if you are not sure if you will be attending the event or not that far in advance.
  •  Photography - Tim Tushla (tushlas@yahoo.com) will be the official photographer at the final site in Sioux City. Tushla is open to requests for photography for schools. Please communicate with him directly.
