Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week - No. 6

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Sharon Ronoh of Lindsey Wilson (Ky.) has been named the NAIA National Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week, the national office announced Wednesday. Ronoh was selected based on her performance from Oct. 8 - 14 and was chosen out of a pool of conference/independent runner of the week selections.

Ronoh, a senior from Timbora, Kenya, Ronoh was dominant at the Wilmington College (Ohio) Fall Classic on Oct. 12. She won the event by 45 seconds with a clocking of 17:11 in the 5K race. In the process, Ronoh shattered the course record, one in which she held from last year. The first-place finish marked the fourth-straight win for Ronoh on the season.
