KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Alina Boshchuk of Cumberlands (Ky.) has been named the NAIA Women’s Cross Country Runner of the Week. Geary was selected based on her performances from October 7 – October 13 and was chosen from a pool of conference/Continental Athletic Conference (Independents)/unaffiliated group nominees.

Runners of the Week are announced weekly throughout the regular season on Wednesdays on naia.org, Instagram and X.

NAIA Women’s Cross Country Runner of the Week 

Alina Boshchuk, Cumberlands (Ky.) – Sophomore

• Ran in the Royals Challenge
• Ran the course in 17:19.27 to finish sixth out of 182 runners
• Was the top NAIA finisher and broke her own school record by over nine seconds
