NAIA Announces 2026 ABCA-Rawlings NAIA Gold Glove Team

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The American Baseball Coaches Association, Rawlings, and the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics have named the nine members of the 2026 ABCA-Rawlings NAIA Gold Glove Team, selected by the NAIA Baseball Coaches Association All-America Committee.

Two players from Hope International (Calif.) earned Gold Glove honors. Pitcher Josh Landry recorded two putouts and 18 assists on the mound, while shortstop Isaiah Lane handled 107 assists and 46 putouts, committing just four errors and finishing with a .975 fielding percentage.

Freed-Hardeman (Tenn.) was also well represented on the infield. Behind the plate, catcher JJ Pruneau anchored the defense with 284 putouts and 40 assists, while third baseman Brooks Jones contributed 103 assists and 35 putouts. Jones was the only sophomore selected to the Gold Glove team.

At first base, Nico Sall delivered a flawless defensive season, finishing without an error while totaling 338 putouts and 19 assists. Oakland City’s Dickey Gonzalez rounded out the infield selections at second base with 114 assists and 110 putouts.

In the outfield, Bernie Socarras of Friends (Kan.) recorded 189 putouts and 12 assists while committing just one error on the season. The Falcons finished third in the nation in fielding percentage at .975. Oregon Tech’s Michael O’Daniel added 137 putouts and posted a .993 fielding percentage, while Evan Mendoza went the entire season without an error, finishing with 64 putouts.
