KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has partnered with AnovaSports, naming the company the Trusted Service Provider of AI Basketball Scouting.

Through the partnership, NAIA basketball programs will have access to AnovaSports’ AI-powered basketball intelligence platform, a decision engine that transforms complex team, opponent, and matchup data into actionable insights for scouting and game preparation. The platform helps coaches identify opponent tendencies, uncover matchup advantages, and focus on the factors most likely to impact game outcomes—spending less time analyzing data and more time preparing their teams to compete.

“We built AnovaSports around a simple idea: coaches are swimming in data—they need to know what matters most and what the data is telling them to do to impact winning outcomes,” said AnovaSports Co-Founder Roy Weathers. “We’re incredibly proud to partner with the NAIA to make sophisticated basketball intelligence available to every program, regardless of staff size or resources. AnovaSports helps coaches quickly turn data into decisions—so they can spend less time analyzing and more time coaching, developing players, and preparing their teams to compete.”

AnovaSports goes beyond traditional basketball analytics by turning team, opponent, and matchup data into actionable intelligence. Its predictive simulation engine runs thousands of potential game scenarios, modeling matchups under different conditions to identify competitive advantages, vulnerabilities, and the factors most likely to influence outcomes. Rather than simply delivering more data, AnovaSports translates that analysis into coach-ready scouting reports and prioritized Keys to Victory, helping coaches move from information to a focused game plan in minutes rather than hours.

“We partnered with AnovaSports because we want NAIA basketball programs to have every opportunity to prepare, compete, and develop at the highest level,” said NAIA President and CEO Jim Carr. “AnovaSports gives NAIA programs another powerful tool to better understand their teams, evaluate opponents and turn information into actionable decisions.”

This partnership agreement runs through September 2029.
