NEW YORK – Rashad Beckham of Benedictine (Kan.) is the winner of the Rimington Award for the NAIA level. The announcement is part of the full release of winners for the Rimington Award. Four first-time selections headline this year’s recipients of the prestigious Rimington Award, presented annually to the top centers in the NAIA, among four divisions of college football for over two decades.
Beckman, a senior from Oceanside, Calif., was named an All-American by the Victory Sports Network and the AFCA in 2025. He was a four-year starter for the Ravens and started 50 games in his career at center, never missing a game. Beckham anchored an offensive line that allowed just 4 sacks all season with a 476.6 yards per game average. He is the fourth Rimington Award winner for Benedictine College.
The Rimington Award winners are selected by Jason Dannelly, coordinator of the award and a prominent voice in college football for non-FBS divisions. Dannelly, the founder of the Victory Sports Network and a 20-year member of the Football Writers Association of America (FWAA), continues the tradition of celebrating excellence with one of college football’s most distinguished honors. Nominations for each level come from a variety of scouts, coaches and media. In order to be considered for the award, the athlete much achieve a minimum of first team All Conference status.
The list of all-conference nominees is paired down to a list of finalists. Other NAIA finalists this year for the award were Ryan Saddler of Grand View (Iowa), Blake Perry of Keiser (Fla.), Chris Foster of McPherson (Kan.) and Joel Akers of Dordt (Iowa).
