KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Max Gainey of Lindsey Wilson (Ky.) went for a program record 230 yards on nine receptions as he also catches this weeks PrestoSports-NAIA Football Offensive Player of the Week honors.
Gainey averaged 25.6 yards per reception during the game last weekend while adding 53 all-purpose yards on a pair of kick off returns. The sophomore wide receiver took three of his catches at 24, 27, and 71 yards to the house.
Gainey and team step back on the gridiron Saturday, October 3 at 1:30 p.m. against Campbellsville (Ky.).
