Collins Tabbed NAIA Men’s Cross Country Runner of the Week After Strong Showing in Season’s Second Meet
KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Brogan Collins finished third at the Biola Cross Country Invitational Friday, finishing third in a field of 178 runners, earning national recognition as Sept. 17’s NAIA Men’s Cross Country Runner of the Week.
Collins helped The Master’s (Calif.) to a third-place finish, behind Grand Canyon and Pepperdine, in a race that came down to the wire. Collins missed first place by less than two seconds, and was the highest-placed finisher among NAIA runners in the event.
His time of 24:13 nearly collected second place for the freshman from Colorado Springs, Colo., as the second-place finisher crossed in 24:12.9.
The Mustangs are home, Saturday, hosting The Master’s College Cross Country Invitational. For more on NAIA Men’s Cross Country Runners of the Week throughout the 2025 season, visit NAIA.org.
